Northern Italian Steakhouse & Fine Dining in New York, New York

Pietro's is the premier Northern Italian steakhouse in New York, New York for fine dining. We invite you, your family, and friends to join us in Midtown for lunch or dinner.

We have been serving our home-cooked Italian food to our wonderful customers for generations.

Featuring Aged Prime Steaks
We are proud to feature our famous 16 ounce dry-aged prime steak. The strip is placed in a controlled room to minimize the moisture to a drier state, enhancing the delectable flavor of the beef.

Our steaks are well-marbled and the aging process helps the meat retain its juices to give it our signature flavor. Don't forget to pair your steak with a selection from our extensive wine menu.

Our Story
Founded in May of 1932 by Pietro Donini and his brother Natale, our restaurant was located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a building on the northeast corner of 3rd Avenue and 45th Street. In the years following Mr. Donini's death, ownership passed to Leo Nuvoiohi, and then later to his son.

The present owners carry on the restaurant's outstanding tradition of excellent service and cuisine. To everyone's delight, Pietro's was recognized in 1994 by Ruth Reichi, food critic of the New York Times. She wrote, "The best steak I have had was at Pietro's."

This wonderful review came on the 10th anniversary of our moving to our present location. Needless to say, the review was greeted with a large measure of joy and jubilation.

We welcome you to our family and hope that you find your dining experience pleasurable. When we say that we provide an atmosphere of a "club without the dues," we really mean it.
